Dalai Lama Hospitalized

The Dalai Lama was admitted to an Indian hospital on Thursday after suffering some abdominal pains.

Eeeek. They must be pretty serious to warrant his hospitalization!

The Dalai Lama's spokesman, Tenzin Takla, says "Since tests haven't begun yet, we don't know what the ailment is. Medical tests will begin on Friday."

He adds that the Dalai Lama was "admitted to hospital because of some abdominal discomfort."

As for Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, its rep says the Dalai Lama "comes every six months for a routine checkup. Around a month ago, a checkup was conducted and he was in perfect health. There is no cause for concern."

Takla also told the press that the Dalai Lama would stay a few days in Mumbai before returning home.

Recently, he had just returned from an 11 day visit to France.

And, although he usually travels for months every year, his trips for the next three weeks have been canceled. That includes trips to the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Whatever it takes to get better!

Let's hope it's really nothing serious and just some minor stomach pains.

Stuff magazine is dead.

The pub will be folded into sister publication Maxim, appearing as merely a “section” in that title going forward.

Stuff and Maxim were recently sold by Dennis Publishing to a private equity firm.

They better not fuck with Blender!!!!
