First, the world waited to see the first photos of Angelina Jolie's newborn twins. Now, we wait to see who she'll endorse to be President of the United States. My God, how much power does this woman have? How do we know her breasts aren't intergalactic weapons of doom that will enslave us all? You don't see Hannity & Colmes tackling that issue. For the record, I volunteer myself to investigate. Wilshire & Washington reports:

"I have not decided on a candidate," Jolie says, "I am waiting to see the commitments they will make on issues like international justice, refugees and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world."
Unlike many other celebrity endorsements, Jolie's carries the weight and influence of her extensive humanitarian work around the world, as the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Her statement was an indication that she would be open to choosing a candidate.

Yeah, all that stuff. But who is Angelina leaning towards? Turns out it's a toss-up:

In June, when Entertainment Weekly asked her whether she talked politics with Clint Eastwood, a longtime Republican, on the set of the upcoming movie, "The Changeling," she said, "Actually, we don't disagree as much as you'd think. I think people assume I'm a Democrat. But I'm registered independent and I'm still undecided. So I'm looking at McCain as well as Obama."

To put things into perspective: Angelina Jolie's father Jon Voight wrote an op-ed piece for the Washington Times essentially claiming Barack Obama would turn America into Louis Farrakhan Land and enslave the white race. So, for all you political junkies out there, look for Angelina to endorse whichever candidate has a firm stance on kicking your old man down the stairs when he forgets his pills. (Psst. Probably not McCain.)

Ange was back on the Los Angeles set of her new movie, The Changeling, on Wednesday.

Angelina Jolie picked up her eldest child, Maddox, up from school in NYC on Wednesday.

The doting mother carried her son’s backpack and held his hand as they left the Lycee Francais.

Even while doing something as mundane as picking Mad up from school, Jolie still looks pretty flawless, dressed in her usual black.

Thought Angelina Jolie was different from every other celebrity because she goes around saving the world? Well she’s not. She bought her 2-year-old daughter Zahara a white Valentino purse identical to hers. Because, you know, 2-year-olds need purses. And not just any purses. Valentino purses. What, your 2-year-old daughter doesn’t have a designer handbag? Oh my God you’re a loser. Go get a job or something. Next you’ll tell me you don’t even have your own helicopter. I’m embarrassed just talking to you.

Angelina Jolie took her four children to a Children’s Petting Zoo in Central Park yesterday, and Shiloh made a rare appearance. Although being the daughter of Angelina Jolie it’s not really any surprise she has lips like that. What is surprising, though, is that I read somewhere she can store up to twenty acorns in those cheeks. That’s fact-tastic!

NOTE: When I say I read something somewhere, just assume I mean I had a delirious dream where everybody was human-sized chipmunks. But really, isn’t that basically the same thing?

Angelina was hard at work on Wanted late into the night yesterday. It was a little too late for the kiddies to be on set with mom, but unfortunately Brad dad couldn’t be taking care of them either. He was in LA yesterday afternoon serving on jury duty. He was assigned to serve on a DUI case, but the defendant ended up pleading no contest. Sigh, if only it had been Paris, Nicole or Lindsay’s case — hilarious. Apparently at one point a fellow juror approached Brad with a magazine talking about this supposed split from Angelina and asked him if it was true. Awk-ward. At that point, he was moved to a private room to enjoy his Subway sandwich lunch. What would be crazier, Angelina filming on your Chicago block or Brad there for your jury duty?

From glamazon to doting mom in the drop of a hat for Angie. Mom Angelina took a break from filming Wanted to bring Zahara for some girl time at Timeless Toys in Chicago this morning. It’s definitely cute that she makes sure to have alone time with all four of her adorable little kiddies. Plus, how funny is little Z? Paparazzi be damned, if Zahara wants to pick her nose, the little sass muffin is going to pick her nose! I also love Zahara’s bracelets — so fancy. The Jolie-Pitts, they’re just like regular kids! Ha.
