Katherine Heigl Tells It Like It Is

Katherine Heigl showed off her modeling skills in the January issue of Vanity Fair. She’s got that old Hollywood glamor down pat, but we guess she already had some practice at the Emmys. So what does one of Hollywood’s most popular stars have to say for herself? A little on movies, a little on TV, and a lot on Josh. Plus, she’s not so happy with some of her characters lately. Here are highlights:
- On Knocked Up: “It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters, and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I’m playing such a bitch; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you’re portraying women? Ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie.”
