Nicole Richie planted an item in the new Us Weekly, justifying her drug use and DUI arrest.

The Simple Life star hopes that we’re gullible enough to believe that she just takes the painkiller Vicodin about once a month - to treat menstruation cramps.

Nicole Sources don’t mention Richie’s marijuana consumption and police confessions, but they do tell the magazine that cops were lying when they said on her police report that she weighs 85 lbs.

Friends claim she weighs ten pounds more than that.

We still can’t get over the Vicodin “period” excuse.

Classic!

Angelina Jolie’s tattoos

h1 Wednesday, December 13th, 2006

If Brad Pitt ever runs out of bedtime reading material, he can always look at Angelina Jolie’s back. The actress showed off her body art in a backless dress at the New York premiere of her CIA movie drama The Good Shepherd. Mind you, Pitt, 42, would have to be adept at deciphering the native Cambodian language of Khmer to read the incantation on her left shoulder blade, which protects her from bad luck.

The only one in English says “know your rights” while, if he wants pictures, there’s a tiger on Angelina’s lower back.

The 31-year-old star made sure fans could see her designs - which are usually covered with make-up for the cameras - by pinning up her long hair.

And there are more tattoos under the dress - she is believed to have about 12 of them, although the name of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton has been masked with another design.

(We know what man boobs look like. Very well.)

Tom & Kate went to yet another soccer game in Los Angeles on Saturday, and Cruise showed off his recently acquired paunch.

Wonder if he’ll go the Janet Jackson role and say that his weight gain is for a role????

Leona Lewis is faultless!!!

She is on track to become the first female winner ever of the U.K.’s singing competition X Factor, and it’s been so wonderful watching her grow and improve with each passing week.

Her voice is such a pure instrument, and her personality just seals the deal.

Leona Lewis is sweet, sincere and totally un-divalike, which makes her the fiercest diva to come around in years.

This week, her performance of Somewhere Over The Rainbow was so exquisite that Simon Cowell called it, “The single best performance I have ever witnessed.”

It brought tears to our eyes!!!

Also this week, Leona took on the daunting task of tackling a Whitney Houston song.

And, once again she soared!!

Dolly Parton to Jessica Simpson: No Hard Feelings!

h1 Friday, December 8th, 2006

Dolly Parton has no hard feelings toward Jessica Simpson, who flubbed the lines to the country singer’s song “9 to 5″ during the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday. “Jessica is so talented that I’m sure that someday they will be paying tribute to her and I would be honored to perform for her,” Parton said in a statement to Inside Edition on Thursday. “But I’ll probably be so nervous that I’ll forget my wig!”

On Sunday, Simpson was paying tribute to Parton by singing her famous song before a packed audience, which included President Bush and the First Lady, when she botched the lines and then fled the stage in tears. “Dolly you make me so nervous. I can’t even sing the words right,” Simpson said at the time.

Later, Simpson’s rep, Cindi Berger, said the singer was “overcome with emotion” during her performance. “She wanted the song to be perfect and she was upset with herself when it wasn’t,” Berger told USA Today. Simpson re-taped her rendition of “9 to 5″ for the televised version of the Kennedy Center Honors. Also being celebrated at the event were Steven Spielberg, Smokey Robinson, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Zubin Mehta.

Tori Spelling’s Yard Sale Starts Today!

h1 Friday, December 8th, 2006

The five-months pregnant actress and her husband, actor Dean McDermott, will be selling wares at their Studio City, Calif., home starting Today at 9 a.m.

Tori Spelling’s “Dazzling Hollywood Estate Sale ” at her Valley home. (11369 Dona Lisa Drive, Studio City) Ads promise sale items represent “fifteen years of buying and collecting.” But there’s something fishy here. First of all, since when does Tori live in middle class Studio City? And take a look at these photos of the roomsful of items for sale. Doilies everywhere! Plastic plants! Grandma style dishes! Not to mention used cosmetics - and don’t forget that fire extinguisher under the vanity. Granted, there’s an occasional picture of Tori propped up, but we’re not buying the notion of Tori Spelling lounging on white wicker furniture. Could this is someone else’s house?

This is what Tori had to say, “I’m having the sale because we’re moving and my taste has changed.” “Plus I’m a notorious pack rat; I keep everything. And I wanted to get organized before the baby arrives, so this seemed the perfect time to clean house. It feels good!”

Quote Of the Day

h1 Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

LohanLadies.jpg

“I’m out here [in Los Angeles] for my child [Lindsay] but it’s a really, really scary place for these kids out here, and a lot goes on, and I needed to come see for myself this whole scene. She [Lindsay] is my child, and I’m here to make sure she’s OK, and everything, and going in the right direction. I’m here for support and reassurance that we’re here for her, and no one’s going away, no one’s going to leave her. I’m here to support her and keep an eye on this situation closely. You know, Lindsay loves to work, so when she’s on a movie set, you know, when she’s not working, and you’re twenty, what do you do? It’s like when you’re not in college, you come home, you meet your friends, you go out. I wish she would move back to New York - You can print that! I want her out of here. The weather’s beautiful. But these kids, it’s just a dangerous place. It just seems here, in this business, it’s intensified here.”
