In news that isn’t really news to us.. it’s People Magazine’s exclusive interview with former NSYNC member, Lance Bass, and he’s finally out of the closet. I’ve told people for weeks that I knew this was coming and this is a big *TOLD YA SO* to all who didn’t believe me!

Lance says, “I knew that I was in this popular band and I had four other guys’ careers in my hand, and I knew that if I ever acted on it or even said (that I was gay), it would overpower everything.”

What’s he up to these days?

Bass now is looking ahead to new beginnings. He is in a “very stable” relationship with model-actor-Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, 32, and is developing an Odd Couple-inspired sitcom pilot with Joey Fatone in which his character will be gay.

Why come out now?

“The thing is, I’m not ashamed – that’s the one thing I want to say,” he explains of his decision to come out. “I don’t think it’s wrong, I’m not devastated going through this. I’m more liberated and happy than I’ve been my whole life. I’m just happy.”

“The main reason I wanted to speak my mind was that (the rumors) really were starting to affect my daily life. Now it feels like it’s on my terms. I’m at peace with my family, my friends, myself and God so there’s really nothing else that I worry about.”

What do is former NSYNC bandmates think?

Justin Timberlake: “Lance is one of my great friends. I support him and wish him all the happiness in the world.”

Joey Fatone: “He took years to really think about how he was going to tell everyone. I back him up 100 percent.”

Pam Anderson and Kid Rock are getting married!

In an announcement on her web site, Pam confirms the news.

“Yes. I’m finally getting remarried…it’s been a whirlwind…spontaneous but well thought through. Feels like I’ve been stuck in a time warp. Not able to let go of MY family picture…it’s been sad and lonely and frustrating….I’ve raised my kids alone in hope of a miracle. Well my miracle came and went. And came back and came back because he knew that I’d wake up one day and realize that I was waiting for nothing. I’m moving on…I feel like I’m finally free….I’m in love. I’m happy….I see the light…sounds dramatic but it’s true…..I know some women can relate to this….My children are getting older. They know the truth and they are strong, smart kids. They love their Dad. They love their new Step Dad who they’ve known for years…time will pass. Wounds will heal. Some people may never grow up. Actions speak louder than words….watch!”

Pam and Kid first started dating in May 2001, after the two reportedly met at a VH1 Divas Live concert afterparty in New York. The couple was engaged in 2002, however they split and called off the wedding in June 2003.

From 2003 - 2005, it was an on-again, off-again relationship.

This would be the second marriage for the 39-year-old Pam, who was previously hitched to rocker Tommy Lee. It will be the first marriage for Kid Rock, 35, whose real name is Robert Richie.

Madonna and her entire 150 person crew for the Confessions World Tour each found clothes that reflect their own individual styles while shopping at H&M. The international fashion retailer agreed to provide a complete wardrobe for Madonna and her “touring family” as part of a long term agreement that includes an upcoming advertising campaign between H&M and the Material Girl.

With H&M and their world famous designers specializing in clothes for all family members, it seemed an ideal combination for the musicians, dancers, makeup artists, management and crew members of Team Madonna to have the opportunity to find exactly what they needed once they got offstage. The entire team was given the chance to choose from H&M’s latest collection which included Victorian romantics, British classics and couture inspired pieces.

The “girls” list for Jessica Simpson’s new video, “A Public Affair” has an updated cast list.  Maria Menounos, Christina Applegate, Christina Milian and Eva Longoria are the stars of Jessica’s video. From Roller Skating rinks to Limousines, the girls are having a night out on the town.  Oh, and did I mention there was an Andy Dick involved?

Why haven’t we ever seen a picture of Suri Cruise?  Hmmm, we may have an answer.. and no, it’s not that she doesn’t exist or that she’s an “alien” as Perez says.  It’s because the photos weren’t bought for a high enough price.

Word on the street is that the photos were offered to Wire Image to sell to the highest bidder. We don’t know the top dollar amount, but rumor has it that it was definitely lower than $3 million.  Yes, $3 million. Damn, I hope I can some day sell my baby pictures for $3 million. I’d be happy to just get them for free! haha

Anyway… I guess Tommy wanted more money because we’re yet to see a picture of the kid and she’s approximately 3 months old now, give or take a few months?!?!  Will we ever see this child? Who knows.  Actually, who cares?  Not us.  Seen one baby, seen them all.

Patricia Arquette, star of one of my favorite shows “Medium” married Thomas Jane on Sunday. The wedding took place in beautiful Venice, Italy and the happy couple were surrounded by family and friends.  Patricia and Thomas have been engaged since 2002 and have a 3 year old daughter named Harlow.

Remember Eddie from Frasier? I loved that dog!  Eddie’s real name was Moose and he lived a long and fun life as one America’s favorite sitcom pets.  Something I didn’t know was that she also played the grown up dog on “My Dog Skip”.. cool!  Moose was almost 17 years old.  R.I.P. boy - we’ll miss ya!  Arrfff arrrffff

Okay so she doesn’t name any names in her Entertainment Weekly enterview but we just love a good “pot shot” when we see one.

Mel Gibson has checked himself into rehab, the troubled actor’s rep Alan Neirob, exclusively tells Star Magazine. “He is in a program of recovery at this time,” Neirob says.

Plus, Chris Prentiss, a neighbor of Gibson’s and the co-founder of celebrity treatment centre Passages in Malibu, Calif., tells Star: “I understand he has gone to a treatment center. The center that I’ve heard he’s checked himself into follows the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-step program. And I don’t believe that will help him.”

Prentiss - who refused to name the rehab center he’s heard Gibson is in - adds: “He needs individual intense therapy by a team of people who know what they are looking for in causes in alcoholism. There are only four causes and it is one or more of those four causes that are causing him to be out of control.”

“First, everyone who is using alcohol excessively has a chemical imbalance. The second is events of the past that we can not cope with like the loss of a loved one or it could be guilt. We may have done something years ago that we can’t forgive ourselves for. The third one is current conditions we can’t cope with like failing marriage or business of lack of respect. The last thing is things we believe that are not true. And in Mel’s case I know one of them. He believes he has the disease of alcoholism which prevents from him from looking for the real reason why he drinks and alcoholism is not a disease. That is the current thinking today. Alcoholism is a symptom and we treat the underlining causes.

‘Statements that Mel Gibson made are a result of alcohol changing Mel Gibson into that kind of a person.

“The Mel Gibson that we all know is not that kind of a person. When alcohol enters his system he becomes an out of control, belligerent, nasty guy.  It’s not Mel Gibson’s life. Most of time, 99.9 per cent of time he is fine upstanding gentlemanly person.

“I wish Mel Gibson well and I would like to see him get the help deserves. He is a fine guy and he should have the kind of help that will truly help him.”

They are heating up Miami and the big screen!  I saw it Friday night and liked it. The Linkin Park “Numb” song keeps ringing in my head.

“Miami Vice” was the top money earner this weekend earning $25.2 million in ticket sales. Only $25 million? That’s a a bit disappointing, so hopefully they’ll hit next weekend as well.  But hey, I don’t know about you but I’m thinking that there are just too many action, drama, good-guy/bad-guy television shows these days and it’s actually kind of hard to get people to open their wallets when they can see it on TV for free.  I went for the nostalgia, and well okay for Colin Farrell *wink*

Oh, and hey what would this post be without a little gossip? It seems that Colin Farrell and his Miami Vice co-star Gong Li have been steaming up the place at the post-premiere party in London’s Sanderson hotel. The Daily Mirror reports that there was “lingering kisses” between the two and “smoldering eye contact” and she and Colin kept “caressing each other’s legs.” According to the 3am girls the pair arrived at the party hand-in-hand and were ushered to a table in the roped-off VIP bit. Could there be a romance starting to sizzle here? or is it more fireworks and chemistry!!!

Jean Reno married model and actress Zofia Borucka on Saturday in a hilltop village in the south of France. Did you know his real name is Don Juan Moreno y Jederique Jimenez? That’s a mouthful.

Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock tie the knot on a yacht in St. Tropez. It’s the first of four weddings the couple have planned. Pam wore a bikini and Bob wore cut-offs. Damn that’s classy!

Have you seen the new version of Paris Hilton’s STARS ARE BLIND music video? It’s more sexy and less artsy than the original one.  I liked the first one, the 2nd one is a true measure of “sex sells” and yes it does. It’s steamy hot and all Paris!

Lindsay Lohan has added another tattoo to her growing collection. The superstarlet got a tiny white heart between her thumb and index finger on her left hand during a 3 a.m. visit to a West Hollywood tattoo parlor last week.

Accompanied by her man of the moment, Harry Morton, who got a cross tattoo. 

This is the fourth tattoo for Lindsay.  Let’s count them:

1. “Breathe” tattooed on her right wrist (remember the asthma attack?).

2. A tiny star inside her left wrist.

3. “La Bella Vita” inked on her lower back - Italian for “The Good Life.”

4. White heart on left hand between index finger and thumb.
